Babe Ruth Bars Recipe



INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 6 cups cornflakes cereal
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup peanuts


THE DIRECTIONS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the peanut butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and white sugar.
  2. Cook stirring occasionally until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and quickly mix in the cornflakes, chocolate chips and peanuts until evenly coated.
  4. Press the entire mixture gently into a buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

Candy Bar Bars Recipe



INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 4 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter


THE DIRECTIONS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9" x 13" pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  4. Mix in the vanilla, corn syrup and oats.
  5. Pat this dough into the greased pan.
  6. Bake for 15-16 minutes (don't over bake).
  7. Meanwhile, over low heat melt together the chocolate chips and peanut butter.
  8. Allow the cookie base to cool slightly, and then spread the chocolate peanut butter mixture on top.
  9. Cool completely and cut into bars.

Choco-coconut Bars Recipe



INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  • 5 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 14 ounces flaked coconut
  • 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips


THE DIRECTIONS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  1. Blend the condensed milk and the vanilla together in a bowl.
  2. Add the powdered sugar a little at a time, blending each time until smooth.
  3. Stir in the coconut.
  4. You should have a firm mixture.
  5. Pat the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan and chill until firm.
  6. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high 1 minute at a time, stirring after each minute, until melted.
  7. Remove the pan from the refrigerator and cut the coconut mixture into 1 x 2 inch bars.
  8. Set each bar on a fork and dip into the chocolate, completely coating the bar.
  9. Let excess drip off, and then set on waxed paper.
  10. Repeat for each bar.
  11. Bars will take several hours to air-dry; if you are in a hurry you can refrigerate the bars for about 30 minutes. Enjoy!


Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares Recipe



INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips


THE DIRECTIONS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  1. Melt 1 cup butter or margarine over low heat.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in confectioners' sugar, peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs.
  3. Spread mixture in a jelly roll pan.
  4. Pat down evenly.
  5. To Make Topping: Melt together 1/2 cup butter or margarine with 1 cup chocolate chips.
  6. Spread this mixture over peanut butter mixture.
  7. Refrigerate 1/2 hour.
  8. Cut into squares.

Double Chocolate Crumble Bars Recipe



INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal


THE DIRECTIONS FOR THIS RECIPE:


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a small mixing bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  4. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Stir flour mixture into the creamed egg mixture.
  6. Spread batter into the greased 9x13 inch pan.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle marshmallows over top of the baked bars; bake 3 minutes more. Cool.
  9. Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl.
  10. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave on high until melted together.
  11. Cook one minute at a time, stirring after each minute.
  12. Stir cereal into the chocolate mixture.
  13. Spread the chocolate mixture over the cooled bars.
  14. Chill, cut into bars and refrigerate.
